Ever struggle with being negative? I do. I don’t need any help being negative. My natural tendency has got it covered. I’m not going to go into where I think the negativity comes from, but what I would like to discuss is a recent decision I made about saying goodbye to negative vibes.
The New Wild West of the Web
Ever since I became internet enlightened I’ve heard the naysayers warn of the dangers of social networking and how it poses a hazard to all who dare to trek it’s tricky trails. To make a long story short, I believed them. I was a huge opponent to Facebook™, MySpace™, Twitter™ and the like. I felt it was safer to stay secluded and completely unavailable. I was wrong.
What I have discovered, besides friends and associates I haven’t spoken to in years, was myself. I realized that I am a better person by being a participant instead of a spectator. By involving myself instead of excusing myself. No one gained anything by not taking risks.
In short, I have bid farewell to the cynicism and embraced the good the bad and the ugly of life in everyway. Freedom is wonderful!
